To authorise requested actions for rent arrears accounts

The procedure to authorise requested actions for rent arrears accounts is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Home (), if not already active. The default Home tiles are displayed.
  2. Click on Authorise Arrears Actions 1. The Authorise Arrears Actions window is in focus, revealing a list of all arrears actions that are awaiting authorisation in the Authorisations summary table 2. By default, the list is filtered to show arrears actions with a status of Awaiting Authorisation.
  3. Optionally, to validate the suggested arrears action for an account: (a) Highlight the desired row and click on Account Details -  The Account Details window is displayed; (b) Click on Summary, Projected Balance, Actions, Arrangements, Action History , etc. to compile background information on the stability of the account; (c) Click on Close.
  4. Double-click on the row matching the account action to be authorised. The Authorise Action window is displayed.
  5. Using the Authorisation drop-down field, select the appropriate response e.g  Authorise the Action or Reject the Action.
  6. Use the Notes field to add any contextual data that is relevant to the authorisation response.
  7. Where an authorisation request is rejected, use the Rejection Reason drop-down field to qualify the outcome.
  8. Click on Confirm. The arrears action authorisation status is set to Authorised or Rejected, in line with the response and removed from the Authorisations summary table.
  9. Click on Save.


Note

1 The default Home tiles are configured at user account level.

2 Only those accounts matching the security privileges of the end user will be displayed.
