To define contract parameters

Parent Previous Next

The procedure to define contract parameters is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Repairs > Configuration > Contracts. The Contract Details window is displayed.
  2. Expand a contractor from the alphabetical list and select an associated contract or type the contract name into the Search Contract field. By default the list is filtered to show Current contracts. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. With the correct contract displayed, click on Parameters. The Parameters tab is activated.
  4. Record the contract order value and quantity thresholds as described in the table below 2.

Additional Notes

Minimum Order Value

The minimum single order value accepted by a contractor and based on the published cost of the work.

Minimum Order Value SOR

Where contract definition parameters dictate a minimum order value is applicable, the SOR code can be used to offset any charging shortfall.

Where the cumulative total of all SOR tasks added to a repair request is below the threshold set for the minimum order value, the SOR code is automatically added and ascribed a value equal to the difference.

Maximum Order Value

The maximum single order value awarded to a contractor, based on the published cost of the work.

None

Maximum Variation Value

The maximum value by which an order can vary against the published cost of the work.

None

Maximum Variation %

The maximum variation by percentage that an order can differ from the published cost of the work.

None

The total permitted value of concurrent orders currently in progress that can be undertaken by a contractor, based on the actual cost of each order.

The additional calculated field Actual In Progress Value is used as a tracking mechanism for this contract parameter.

The additional calculated field Contract Value To Date is used as a tracking mechanism for this contract parameter.
