The procedure to enable MS Word templates for communications is as follows:
- Navigate to Profile (
). The Profile window is displayed for the current user with the Details tab active.
- Activate the Use Word to edit template option using the tick box provided.
- Click on Save.
- Select the hyper-link text Click here to download installation package for Word Add-in

- Save the matching Zip archive (CivicaCommEngineAddIn.zip) to an arbitrary folder.
- Extract the Zip archive and double-click on the file Setup.exe
2. The EULA (End User Licence Agreement) must be accepted before the set-up procedure can commence.
- Close all applications and restart Windows to complete the Word Add-in registration.

1 Depending on the incumbent MS Word version employed by housing operatives, the 32-Bit, 64-Bit and Office 365 variants are all available for selection.
