The opportunity to preview the advice linked to a subject at any stage of the creation process enables the end user to verify that its intended appearance matches the desired output. As the advice will be displayed through the Civica Cx Housing interface, HTML code must be employed to control the text formatting style and behaviour.
The procedure to preview HTML advice linked to a CRM subject is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > CRM > Configuration > Subject. The CRM Subject Configuration window is displayed.
- Expand a type heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated CRM subject, or enter its name into the Search CRM Subject field. By default the list is filtered to show Current subjects. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All

- Click on Preview Advice
2. The CRM subject Preview window is displayed, revealing the advice notice in the published format; any errors, omissions or text changes can be documented and applied to the source HTML code.
- Click on Close.

1 The Search CRM Subject field will match against any element of the description.
2 This option is restricted to communication subjects where the Advice Only attribute has been activated.
