To process account charges via a scheduled task

The procedure to process account charges via a scheduled task is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Scheduling > System Schedules. The Schedule Details window is displayed.
  2. Select a predefined account charges schedule from the alphabetical list or enter its name into the Search System Schedules field. By default the list is filtered to show Current schedules. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. Click on Details (if not already selected). The Details tab is activated.
  4. Click on Run Now.
  5. All tasks associated with the scheduled account charges timetable are processed in chronological order and all dependencies observed. Once complete, the status of the schedule is updated with the final outcome, summarised in the History tab (e.g. Successful, Failed, etc.) 2.


Note

1 The Search System Schedules field will match against any element of the scheduling timetable description.

2 The function to generate an event manually in advance of the scheduled slot does not compromise the upcoming schedule in any way.
