To remove a section from a question form page

The procedure to remove a section from a question form page is as follows:

1. Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Configuration > Form Template. The Form Template window is displayed.
2. Expand a category heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated question form template, or type its name into the Search Templates field. By default the list is filtered to show Current question form templates. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
3. Click on Page Setup. The Page Setup tab is activated.
4. Select the desired question form page from which a section will be removed using the drop-down field.
5. Locate the specific horizontal bar matching the section to be removed.
6. Click on Remove 2. The end user is asked to affirm removal of the section before the entry and all linked items are cleared from the question form layout 3.
7. Click on Save.

Note

1 The Search Templates field will match against any element of the question form template name.

2 A page must contain at least one section; hence it is not permitted to remove the last remaining section from any single page on the question form template.

3 Where the section has not yet been saved, it will be completely deleted; otherwise the effective date will be automatically populated to clear it from the form layout, whilst preserving the historical record.
