The procedure to capture the lessons learnt from an ASB case is as follows:
- Using the Advanced search spy-glass (
), select ASB Case as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Case ID as the search criteria

- With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The ASB Case Details window is displayed.
- Click on Lessons Learnt. The Lessons Learnt tab is activated.
- Click on New Lesson Learnt. The Lessons Learnt window is displayed.
- Using the Type drop-down field, select a parameter value to categorise those specific lessons being captured for the ASB case

- Enter the Details of those lessons learnt into the field provided i.e. contextual notes used to inform best practice and performance measurement.
- Using the Outcome drop-down field, select a parameter value to categorise how those identified lessons are to be implemented within the ASB management process

- Use the Outcome details field to capture contextual data in support of those initiatives.
- Click on Confirm. The new recorded entry is displayed in the Lessons Learnt summary table.
- Repeat steps 4 through 9 to capture further lessons learnt from the ASB case.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. start and end date ranges, category, company, status) to ensure that the correct ASB case is returned; an alternative Search by category of Contact or Contact Group may be selected to extend the available search fields.
