The procedure to create a new charge element review model is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > Rents > Configuration > Rent Review. The Rent Review window is displayed.
- Expand a rent charge review status heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated cycle or type the description directly into the Search Rent Review field. By default the list is filtered to show Open rent review cycles. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: In Progress, Selection Complete, Applied, Part Applied, Notifications Generated, Cancelled or All
1.
- Click on Models. The Models tab is activated.
- Click on New Model
2. The Model Details window is displayed.
- Enter a Description for the charge element review model into the field provided
3.
- Click on Confirm. The Model drop-down field is populated with the name of the new charge element review model and all existing uplift values, if any, are cleared from the Element Charges summary table entries
4.
Note
1 The Search Rent Review field will match against any component of the cycle description.
2 It is only permitted to create a new model for a rent review cycle where the status is set to In Progress or Selection Complete.
3 System validation rules ensure that the description entered for each new review model is unique.
4 Any previously configured charge element uplift values can be retrieved simply by re-selecting the original model to which they relate.
