During the lifecycle of an application, its journey is tracked using a number of different status codes, reflecting the movement from initial submission right through to successful allocation, matching the requirements and priorities of the applicant to an organisation asset, non-organisation asset or other service type. As each status is ascribed, it can also be accompanied by a qualifying reason code, providing contextual background to an application's standing.
The procedure to define the default status progression reason codes for an application type is as follows:
Note
1 The Search Application Types field will match against any element of the application type description.
2 These custom values can be populated by the end user via the system parameter entitled Application Status Change Reasons.
3 The utilisation of reason codes for one or more application types is at the discretion of the end user and therefore any chosen subset is permitted.
