To delete a recorded equipment service visit from an asset

The procedure to delete a recorded equipment service visit from an asset is as follows:

  1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the asset address 1.
  2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
  3. Click on Asset Details. The Asset Details window is displayed for the current asset.
  4. Click on Equipment 1. The Equipment tab is activated, revealing a list of all completed equipment service appointments in the Visit summary table; click on the expansion level pointer icon () to reveal the row detail.
  5. Highlight the row matching the equipment service visit to be removed from the asset record.
  6. Click on Delete Visit. The end user is asked to affirm the operation before the selected entry is removed from the Visit summary table 2.


Tip

1 Use the Left () and Right () scrolling arrows to reveal additional tabs that might be hidden from view.

Note

1 The search facility will return all possible matches for any corresponding address field once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.

2 Any equipment service visit deleted in error can simply be re-added.
