The procedure to generate notifications for a rent charge review is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > Rents > Configuration > Rent Review. The Rent Review window is displayed.
- Expand a rent charge review status heading from the alphabetical list and select an associated cycle or type the description directly into the Search Rent Review field. By default the list is filtered to show Open rent review cycles. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: In Progress, Selection Complete, Applied, Part Applied, Notifications Generated, Cancelled or All
1.
- Click on Finalise. The Finalise tab is activated.
- Using the Model drop-down field, select the desired model from which the applied rent charge values will be communicated to the tenants
2. A list of all matching agreement types and assigned communication definitions are displayed in the Communications summary table.
- Click on Generate Notifications
3. The end user must affirm the operation before the communication jobs are despatched to the appropriate queue
4.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 The Search Rent Review field will match against any component of the cycle description.
2 Notifications can only be generated to communication queues where the rent review model status is set to Applied.
3 All agreement types must have an assigned communication definition before the option is activated.
4 All components of a communication - the format, the style, the recipient-specific fields (merge tags), the output channels (Letter, Email, Text Message), the designated queue - are controlled within the communication definition.
