The procedure to reconcile transactions on a rent account is as follows:
- Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of either the responsible contact for the agreement or the asset address

- Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon (
).
- Click on Agreements (contact summary 360 view) or History (for an asset)
2. The Agreements tile (or History tab) is activated, revealing a list of all agreements associated with the contact (or asset) in the Agreements (or Rent) summary table.
- Double-click on the specific agreement against which rent account transactions will be reconciled. The Agreement Details window is displayed.
- Click on Accounts. The Accounts tab is activated.
- Double-click on the specific account on which transactions will be reconciled. The Account Details window is displayed.
- Click on Transactions. The Transactions tab is activated.
- Click on Match Payment. The Match Transaction window is displayed, revealing a list of transactions posted to the account. By default the list is filtered to show All Transactions. An alternative filter can be applied using the Filter by drop-down field: Balance Outstanding.
- Highlight a row containing the transaction to be matched (e.g. a payment) and click on Match. The Match Transaction window is displayed, revealing the selected transaction in the Source table and possible matches in the Matched summary table. By default the potential match list is filtered to show Balance Outstanding transactions. An alternative filter can be applied using the Filter by drop-down field: Previously Matched, All Transactions.
- Highlight the desired row in the Matched summary table containing the corresponding transaction (e.g. a rent charge) and enter the reconciled amount in the Allocated field
3. Additional rows can be matched to the source transaction in the same way until the combined Allocated amount reaches the desired total

- Click on Confirm Continue to match a further source transaction or Confirm Close. The matched transactions reflect the new outstanding balances.
Note
1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for a contact's first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached; it will likewise return all possible matches for any corresponding address field.
2 The availability and customisation of all Contact Summary 360 View tiles is controlled separately for each end user via their unique system profile.
3 Previously matched transactions can be unreconciled in full or in part by reducing the Allocated value.
4 The combined allocated amount cannot exceed the source transaction balance.
