To remove a rent cap from a charge element

The procedure to remove a rent cap from a charge element is as follows:

1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Rents > Configuration > Rent Capping. The Cap Details window is displayed.
2. Select a rent cap from the alphabetical list or type its name into the Search Rent Cap field. By default the list is filtered to show Current rent caps. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
3. Click on Elements. The Elements tab is activated.
4. Select the row in the Cap Elements summary table matching the element to be deleted.
5. Click on Delete Element. The end user is asked to affirm the deletion before the element is cleared from the Cap Elements summary table.

Note

1 The Search Rent Cap field will match against any element of the rent cap description.
