To view the current action plan for a services resource

The procedure to view the current action plan for a services resource is as follows:

  1. Using the Advanced search spy-glass (), select Resource as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Resource description as the search criteria 1.
  2. With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The Resource Details window is displayed.
  3. Click on Action Plan. The Action Plan tab is activated.
  4. Using the Episode drop-down field, ensure that the allocations episode associated with the relevant action plan is selected. The Current Plan name, the Start date (the date on which the plan was commenced), the Target date (the planned completion date for the plan) and the Current milestone (the action within the plan with the closest completion date pending and where the number of assigned target days have elapsed) are revealed.
  5. In addition, all actions linked to the services resource, both from current and previous plans, are displayed in the Action HIstory summary table 1. Certain fields are worthy of special note and are captured in the table below.
  6. Click on Close.


Tip

1 By default, all actions are displayed in chronological order; to aid in identification and analysis, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings.

Note

1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. address, post code, resource type) to ensure that the correct services resource record is returned.


Field

Description

Plan

The name of the plan to which the action is linked.

Action

The description of the action linked to the plan.

Start date

The actual date on which the action was commenced.

Target date

The proposed completion date for the action, derived from the default number of target days assigned to it.

Revised

A Boolean indicator to denote that the action target date has been amended from the originally calculated value.

Target days

The number of days remaining before the target completion date is reached.

Complete date

The actual date on which the action was completed.

Notes

The contextual information added to the action record in support of the current status progression.

SLA

A colour code indicator to summarise the status of the action relative to the target date (Green - Amber - Red). Green = The action is on track; Amber = The warning days limit set for the action has now been reached; Red = The target date set for the action has expired.
