The power of Civica Cx Housing is realised not just in the comprehensive storage of information through a user-friendly, intuitive interface, but also in the ability to extract data in a format suitable for transfer to a third-party, an accounting system or simply to offer further opportunities for data manipulation and analysis. All modules within the Civica Cx Housing portfolio provide the facility to export data in a delimited format (typically Comma Separated Variable), which can then be opened up directly within Microsoft Excel, or similar.
Rents management
As part of the rent review process, options are provided to export separately the calculated asset and / or agreement charges that are proposed following the application of a rent review model. Any number of rent review models - or scenarios - can be applied and therefore the ability to export current and projected uplift values allows for the comparison of results across different models; thus informing business decisions on specific rent adjustment proposals. In addition to the export of projected results i.e. those yet to be applied to the accounts, it is also permitted to export the finalised rent values for submission to a third party. As the export process is simply compiling a snap-shot of the data, without affecting the accounts themselves, there is no limit to the number of exports that can be generated. The end user also has complete control over the naming convention of the resulting files and the preferred folder locations.
