The procedure to add a priority to an ASB category is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > ASB > Configuration > Category Type. The ASB Category Type Configuration window is displayed.
- Expand an ASB type heading from the alphabetical list and select an ASB category type, or enter its name into the Search category type field. By default the list is filtered to show Current category types. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All
1.
- Click on Priorities. The Priorities tab is activated.
- Click on New Priority. The ASB Category Type Priority window is displayed.
- Using the Priority Type drop-down field, select the priority weighting applicable to the category e.g. Critical, High, Medium, Low, etc.
- Where the selected priority weighting is the Default Priority for the ASB category, activate the tick box provided
2.
- Choose an Effective from date for this priority weighting i.e. the date on which it came into effect for the ASB category
3.
- Choose an Effective to date if the priority weighting for the ASB category is to be reviewed on a specific date or to capture a change of circumstances; a blank field means the priority will be continually valid.
- Click on Confirm. The new record is displayed in the Priority Types summary table.
- Click on Save
4.
Note
1 The Search category type field will match against any element of the ASB category description.
2 Where a default priority weighting already exists for the same ASB category, the end user is asked to affirm the attribute transfer from one to the other.
3 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
4 To amend the details of an existing priority weighting, double-click on the desired row in the Priority Types summary table and repeat steps 5 through 10.
