The procedure to disable a served notice in an ASB case is as follows:
- Using the Advanced search spy-glass (
), select ASB Case as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Case ID as the search criteria

- With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The ASB Case Details window is displayed.
- Click on Legal Action. The Legal Action tab is activated, revealing all legal proceedings undertaken for the ASB case in the Legal Action summary table.
- Highlight the row matching the ASB served notice to be disabled. A current summary of the served notice is displayed in the Legal Action Details section.
- Click on Disable Action. The Disable ASB Notice window is displayed, revealing the notice type and the date on which it comes into effect.
- Using the Disable reason drop-down field, select an appropriate parameter value to qualify the circumstances surrounding the ASB served notice being disabled.
- Use the Disable notes field to add contextual data in support of the ASB served notice being disabled.
- Click on Confirm. The served notice record, displayed in the Legal Action summary table, reflects the proposed change.
- Click on Save.

1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. start and end date ranges, category, company, status) to ensure that the correct ASB case is returned; an alternative Search by category of Contact or Contact Group may be selected to extend the available search fields.
