The procedure to make an offer to selected applicants on a match list is as follows:
- Prerequisite procedural steps are covered separately in the topic To generate a match list for a resource. Refer to these before proceeding to step 2.
- Activate the Select tick box against one or more rows containing applicants who are being offered a property or service
1.
- Click on Offer. The Offer window is displayed.
- Using the Agreement Type drop-down field, select an appropriate parameter value for the property or service e.g. Tenancy, Starter Tenancy, Fixed Term Tenancy, Professional Training Programme, etc.
- Enter the Proposed Agreement Start Date for the property or service using the calendar icon (
), or type in the value directly (format DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY) i.e. the anticipated commencement date
2.
- Click on Confirm
3. The Action of the selected applications is automatically set to 'Offer' in the summary table; the Match List Status is set to 'Offered'.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 It is important to only group together applications where the agreement conditions surrounding the offer are identical.
2 For service-based offers relating to, say, professional training, the proposed agreement start date might be set as the date on which the course is scheduled.
3 System validation rules ensure that any currently active offers are either linked to the same application type, or where different application types are employed, these are configured to Allow other offers.
