To update the outcome of an applicant offer

The procedure to update the outcome of an applicant offer is as follows:

  1. Prerequisite procedural steps are covered separately in the topic To generate a match list for a resource. Refer to these before proceeding to step 2.
  2. Click on Offers. The Offers tab is activated, revealing all offers on the property in the Offer History summary table.
  3. Highlight a row matching the offer against which an update to the outcome is required. The progression stage of the offer is displayed underneath the Offer Status heading.
  4. Click on Offer Outcome. The Offer Outcome Details window is displayed.
  5. Using the Outcome Type drop-down field, select an appropriate parameter value to confirm the outcome of the applicant offer i.e. Accepted, Refused, Under Offer, Withdrawn.
  6. Enter the Outcome Date using the calendar icon (), or type in the value directly (format DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY) i.e. the date on which the outcome of an applicant offer was confirmed.
  7. Complete all additional components of the outcome, as defined by the selected type. An explanation of each field linked to the specific outcome type is summarised in the table below.
  8. Click on Confirm. The recorded outcome of the offer is reflected in the Offer History summary table 1.
  9. Click on Save.


Note

1 A new entry is displayed in the Offer Outcome History summary table, capturing the details of the recorded applicant offer outcome; hence it is permissible to capture and track progressive outcomes for an application offer, over time.

A tick box to denote the legitimacy of the reason provided by an applicant for refusing the offer.

Withdrawn

Reason

A parameter selection value to qualify the circumstances surrounding the withdrawal of an offer to an applicant.
