To change the agreement type of an offer

Parent Previous Next

The procedure to change the agreement type of an offer is as follows:

  1. Prerequisite procedural steps are covered separately in the topic To generate a match list for a resource. Refer to these before proceeding to step 2.
  2. Click on Offers. The Offers tab is activated, revealing all offers on the property in the Offer History summary table.
  3. Highlight a row matching the offer against which a change of agreement type is required. The conditions of the offer are displayed underneath the Agreement Type heading.
  4. Click on Change Agreement Type 1. The Change Agreement Type window is displayed.
  5. Using the New Agreement Type drop-down field, select an appropriate parameter value to reflect the new agreement for the offer e.g. Starter Tenancy, Assured Tenancy, Fixed Term Tenancy, etc.
  6. Click on Confirm. The change of agreement type is reflected in the Offer History summary table.
  7. Click on Save.

Note

1 Setting 'Starter Tenancy' as the default agreement type for all properties may be standard policy for a housing organisation; this can then be changed on a case by case basis, depending on the applicant in receipt of the offer.
